ABOUT DR. WENDY CHURCHILL-URRICO

You'll see Dr. Churchill more than you're used to seeing other doctors.  Dr. Churchill focuses on providing personalized, gentle dental care.  Patient care and education are her top priorities.  She values how the doctor-patient relationship helps people, reflected in the time she spends with her patients.  According to Dr. Churchill, “Open communication is necessary. The more patients communicate with me, the better I am able to adapt to what they need.  I’ve grown very accustomed to reading facial expressions because people don’t always verbalize what they want.”  Dr. Churchill enjoys seeing children, as well, and often speaks in public about dental health issues.

 

Dr. Churchill, while originally from Ohio, graduated from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA.  She received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA in 1997.  Tiring of the snow and gloomy, cold weather, Dr. Churchill passed a second set of board exams to practice in Florida.  She opened her own dental office in the Carrollwood area of Tampa in 2001.

The American Dental Association, The Florida Dental Association, The West Coast Dental Association, and the Hillsborough Dental Association

 

She and her husband enjoy spending time outdoors kayaking or biking.  Her creative interests vary amongst writing, art, sewing, and stained glass. You may see some of her artwork displayed in the office, including a stained glass heron in the operatory, reflecting the comfortable atmosphere of the office.
